This simple plate features a design involving fish and dots and is the work of Rieko Tanaka. Tanaka is a potter born and raised in Kyoto City. She graduated from the Kyoto College of Art and majored in pottery. After graduating, she began creating works at a local kiln in Kyoto. Since then, she has been active in exhibitions around the country.
